DO YOU WANT TO WORK WITH ME?

ABOUT ME
I received my BA, MS, and PhD from the University of Colorado-Boulder, and held a research affiliation to the Institute for Arctic and Alpine Research. This work spanned the globe; from the arctic to Antarctica, high alpine to the plains, the US and abroad. From extensive fieldwork and lab experience, I developed specialized expertise in water quality sampling, flow measurement, as well as ecological assessment and environmental monitoring. My research has been published in top-tier journals, among features in media outlets such as Scientific America and the New York Times. Equally skilled at teaching, mentorship, and science communication; I have given countless presentations, conducted outreach and training workshops, supported citizen science projects, and coordinated emergency response to study natural hazards include mine drainage releases and floods.
